The Shoals Environmental Alliance, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the natural resources, scenic beauty, and recreational opportunities of the Muscle Shoals, Alabama area. We promote activities that heighten awareness of healthy planning for our environment and our community's growth and well-being.

• We encourage responsible economic growth that preserves our public greenspaces and wildlife habitat.
• We promote the recreational opportunities and health benefits of the area's nature trails, bike paths, and birding areas to local residents and tourists.
• Our Native Plant Garden, located on the TVA Muscle Shoals Reservation, teaches about common and endangered plants of the region.
• We invite the public to attend nature walks and seminars led by educators and environmentalists to learn about our natural environment.
• We are working to preserve and research historic sites in our area.
